WordPress Core Integrations

Article Last Updated: March 4, 2021

Out of the box, Easy Forms for Mailchimp by YIKES provides two basic ways of integrating with your WordPress install. Each integration is a great way to grow your subscribers list exponentially.

The first integration is the WordPress registration form where any new user who registers for your site will be added to a pre-selected Mailchimp list. The second integration is the WordPress comment form integration which enables a checkbox below comment forms on your site. Users will be added to a pre-selected mailing list based on the email set in their user profile. Once a user has been subscribed to a list, the checkbox will no longer appear.

WordPress Registration Form Integration

To use the registration form integration, simply toggle on the WordPress Registration Form setting on the integration settings page.

When checked, an additional set of options will be displayed. You can go through and set your Associated List, Checkbox Label, Precheck Checkbox and Interest Groups (if you have them enabled for the chosen list).

Once you save the settings you’ll see the new check box field just below the E-mail field on the registration form of your site (see below).

WordPress Comment Form Integration

To enable the comment form integration, you’ll want to check off the WordPress Comment Form setting on the Integration Settings options section. When checked, an additional set of options will be displayed. You can go through and set your Associated List, Checkbox Label, Precheck Checkbox and Interest Groups (if you have this enabled for the chosen list).

Once you save the settings you’ll see the new check box field just below the E-mail field on the registration form of your site (see below).
