reCAPTCHA Settings

Article Last Updated: March 4, 2021

reCAPTCHA is a Google service that verifies if a real person, and not a spambot, is submitting a form. You can use reCAPTCHA to help prevent spammers and bots from submitting data through your Mailchimp forms.

Step One – Get a reCAPTCHA Site Key and Secret Key

Go to the Google reCAPTCHA site to register a new site. You will need a Google account to do this.

After your site is registered, reCAPTCHA will give you a Site Key and a Secret Key.

Step Two – Go to Easy Forms > Settings

On the right hand side, under Additional Settings click on reCAPTCHA Settings.

Click the Enable reCAPTCHA Protection checkbox.

Enter the Site Key and a Secret Key into your reCAPTCHA settings and click the Save Changes button.

Click View reCAPTCHA Preview to verify your site is connected to reCAPTCHA properly.
